A motorcycle crash on the evening of July 29 left a 61-year-old man dead. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the motorcyclist was traveling east on County Road 8 near Lanesboro when a westbound 2012 Toyota pickup truck collided with the motorcycle.
Police say that the truck was in the process of turning left onto County Road 17 to head south when the driver hit the biker. The four occupants of the pickup truck were not injured. In addition to the MSP, local EMS units responded at the scene. No information about whether charges will be filed has been released at this time, and the cause of the crash was not reported.
Since motorcycle accidents could involve fatalities, family members often have expenses to cope with that may seem overwhelming.
